FLUORECARE GLYCOSYLATED HEMOGLOBIN (HbA1c)

The fluorecare® HbA1c, based on the principle of the immunochromatographic assay, is used to detect the concentration of HbA1c in human whole blood by double antibody sandwich method. The human whole blood is added into the specimen adding hole, the HbA1c in the specimens to be tested is combined with the fluorescently-labeled HbA1c antibody on the conjugate pad, and the HbA1c-antibody complex is formed. Because of the effect of the chromatogaphy, HbA1c-antibody complex will be diffused along the nitrocellulose membrane. In the test line (T) region, HbA1c-antibody complex will be combined with the coated antibody in the detection line area, the higher concentration of HbA1c, the more aggregation of the complex on the detection line, the deeper colour of the fluorescent band under the specific wavelength. The signal intensity of fluorescent antibody is positively correlated with the concentration of the substance to be measured in the specimens. Fluorescently-labeled the goat-anti-chicken IgY antibody is diffused to the quality control line (C) and is captured by the chicken IgY antibody to form a fluorescent band under the specific wavelength. When the reaction is over, the instrument can be used to interpret the results. The optical density of the control line and test line will be analyzed by the instrument. Afterwards, the instrument calculates the concentration of the HbA1c according to the formerly set calibration curve and displays the results, with ％ as a unit.
