FLUORECARE D-DIMER

The fluorecare® D-dimer, based on the principle of the immunochromatographic assay, is used to detect the concentration of D-dimer in human plasma by double antibody sandwich method. The human plasma is added into the specimen adding hole, the D-dimer in the specimens to be tested is combined with the fluorescently-labeled D-dimer antibody on the conjugate pad, and the D-dimer- antibody complex is formed. Because of the effect of the chromatogaphy, D-dimer- antibody complex will be diffused along the nitrocellulose membrane. In the test line
(T) region, D-dimer- antibody complex will be combined with the coated antibody in the detection line area, the higher concentration of D-dimer, the more aggregation of the complex on the detection line, the deeper colour of the fluorescent band under the specific wavelength. The signal intensity of Ffluorescent antibody is positively correlated with the concentration of the substance to be measured in the specimens. When the fluorescently-labeled chicken IgY antibody diffuses to the quality control line (C) region, the fluorescently-labeled chicken IgY antibody will be combined with the goat anti-chicken IgY antibody coated in the quality control line (C) region , regardless of the presence of D-dimer in the specimen , to form a fluorescent band at a specific wavelength. When the reaction is over, the instrument can be used to interpret the results. The optical density of the control line and test line will be analyzed by the instrument. Afterwards, the instrument calculates the concentration of the D-dimer according to the formerly set calibration curve and displays the results, with mg/L as a unit.
