The fluorecare®cTnI, based on the principle of the immunochromatographic assay, is used to detect the concentration of cTnI in human serum or plasma by double antibody sandwich method. The human serum or plasma is added into the specimen adding hole, the cTnI in the specimens to be tested is combined with the fluorescently-labeled cTnI antibody on the conjugate pad, and the cTnI-antibody complex is formed. Because of the effect of the
chromatogaphy, cTnI-antibody complex will be diffused along the nitrocellulose membrane. In the test line (T) region, cTnI-antibody complex will be combined with the coated antibody in the detection line area, the higher the concentration of cTnI, the more aggregation of the complex on the detection line, the deeper colour of the fluorescent band under the specific wavelength. The signal intensity of fluorescent antibody is positively correlated with the concentration of the substance to be measured in the specimens. Fluorescently-labeled the mouse-anti-rabbit IgG antibody is diffused to the quality control line (C) and is captured by the rabbit IgG antibody to form a fluorescent band under the specific wavelength. When the reaction is over, the instrument can be used to interpret the results. The optical density of the control line and test line will be analyzed by the instrument. Afterwards, the instrument calculates the concentration of the cTnI according to the formerly set calibration curve and displays the results, with ng/mL as a unit.
